Colin Cutler is an independent banjo- and guitar-slinging storyteller and songwriter based in North Carolina. His newest album, Tarwater, is based on the short stories of Flannery O'Connor and ranges across the tent of Americana and folk, drawing from the sounds of country, gospel, blues, and roots rock, with a touch of banjo-driven oldtime. The album also made it into the top 20 on both Folk Alliance and alt country charts.
In the last couple years, Colin has performed at Merlefest, the North Carolina Folk Festival Shakori Hills Grassroots Fest, Charlie Poole Festival, and Antlers and Acorns Songwriters Festival, Notre Dame University, and he won the Susquehanna Folk Festival Emerging Artists Competition in 2022.
Sarah Greene is a songwriter, writer and former music journalist (for NOW Magazine, Exclaim!, The Coast and other publications) from Toronto. Her songs are intimate, concise and idiosyncratically classic. Working in warm, soulful country-tinged folk-rock ballads, she examines loneliness, vulnerability, and the tugging poles of freedom and attachment in her songs. She released two recordings as the front woman of mid-2000s indie-folk band The Pickups before putting out her debut solo album, Toronto Blues, in 2011. She is currently putting finishing touches on her Toronto Arts Council-funded sophomore album, Being Real, due out later this year. Sarah is the Director of Residency Programs at Tranzac, a not for profit venue in Toronto; as well as program coordinator for Folk Canada’s Folk In Film Festival.
